Pit Healing 2008 1 Month, 4 Weeks ago Karma: 1
Thanks to all who participated in what was once again a very special day - LiFE Academy's Pit Healing 2008

Thanks to Nundjan, Kadambii and Vasu for sharing their knowledge, wisdom, healing and generous hearts. Many others contributed greatly to this day, not least of all the LiFE Academy's wonderful students who contributed with their own wisdom and generosity of heart.

Special mention must go to the several international and interstate guests and students who made the trip to Perth to share in the event. Their presence always brings an expanded healing energy and draws into focus the importance of the healing work for the welfare of all life on our little planet.

Following are a collection of photos from the day. For those of you at the event who have your own photos you would like to share please respond to this post and attach them. If you have any troubles with this you could also forward them to me at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it and I will be happy to post them here for everyone's enjoyment!

Early morning faces gather round the fire...

Worlds blur...

Painting faces marking all for the healing journey ahead...

Dawn breaks for a quick drink and to gather round the lake and flowers for inspirational talks from Vasu, Kadambii, Nundjan, Jindi and Tammy...

Time to gather together, gather the flowers and head down to the pits...

Kadambii and Vasu direct traffic as Nundjan keeps a close eye on proceedings...

Karen prepares for take-off...

Many hands...

We unite our hearts and mind with the land, the flowers, each other and the healing...

Bliss...

Clapping, stomping, chanting, didgeridoo all contributes to the healing journey for those in the pits...

It was THE time of the year again: PIT HEALING.
Like last year I was so lucky to accommodate some interstate students at our placc. This is not only a great pleasure, but the best preparation for the healing ceremony. Thanks to all 'my girls and boy', you made the time very special.
This year was made even more special as Kadambii appointed me pit mother with Penny and Jo. Thanks to you as well as it was a great experience to help preparing the 'old' person going into the pit and leading 'the new one' to the lake.
It was a very humbling experience which will stay with me for a very long time as will the chanting. I still hum and sing the chants from the ceremony as I sit here writing this.
Again my greates thanks to Nundjan, Kadambii, Vasu and their wonderful horse, which made the start of the day magic.

I was honoured and blessed to be able to be part of Life Academy's Pit Healing. The rituals i participated in were unforgetable! The people that i met were inspirational! The healing energy that was generated was indescribable. Thank you for allowing me to go into the Pit where i felt safe, protected, loved and at peace. I continue to feel uplifted, confident, loved and at peace. I will share this wondeful experience with the world (at the very least my clients on my data base) on my website and direct them to Life Academy's website for more information and photos.

Katharina it was indeed a magical day.

Hi Cyril, nice to hear from you! Would be great to see you up here next year of course. The French contingent was a noticeable exclusion this year!
